Accommodation Kitchen - well equipped full kitchen, with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, full hob, full size oven, microwave. Also full size fridge/freezer in garage accessible from garden for storing all those cold drinks etc. Living room – table and chairs for 6/8, 2 leather sofas, UK TV satalite, new 20" Philips Flatsceen TV, DVD, Hi Fi (Pioneer/Tannoy) with 3.5mm jack input for portable music players (like iPod), ceiling fan, French doors terrace Separate WC. Bedroom 1 – double bed, french door to balcony, overlooking pool and Pezenas town, ample storage (sleeps 2) Bedroom 2 – triple bunk, double bed below, single above, ample storage, TV/DVD, fan, (sleeps 3) Bedroom 3 – full size bunk beds, also pull out bed, en suite bathroom with shower, TV/DVD, Playstation 2, storage, fan (sleeps 2, with pull out bed sleeps 3). Cot available. Separate bathroom with bath, shower and hand basin. Exterior – large rear garden with wooden table & chairs for 8 (more chairs in garage), parasol. Full size table tennis table. Gas BBQ. Linen & towels included (no beach towels). Beach chairs & beach brolly provided too. Locally managed by Britsh people. |

Residents only swimming pool, open 15 May to 30 Sept, 9am to 9pm. Rochlonge beach (near Cap D’Agde). Few beach shops, beach bars and snack places. Beach 20-25 minutes away. There are at least 2 golf clubs within 20 minutes drive. Pezenas is a rich historic town with loads of character. Good Saturday market, lots of restaurants, traditional bakeries, cafes and wine from £1 a bottle. Markets Pezenas – Saturday market from 9am to 4pm. Bessan – Sunday market, morning only, very useful if you arrived late on Saturday. Pezenas Walk around, check out the “historic” part. See later guide and walk. Late night opening in summer, Thursday. Very pretty in “historic” part. Canal du Midi Drive around the villages and towns, very French and picturesque. Very pretty French drives around local area (colour map in masion), some small roads, some amazing views and off the beaten track. Cap D’Agde – not very French, but lots to do ..(see map/leaflet) Shops and restaurants for anytime or evening Water Park Luna Park Aquarium Dino Land (see leaflets for details) Valras Plage Beach, shops and restaurants. Bit like Cap D’Agde but smaller. Aigues Mortes About one hours drive, worth a visit, very pretty historic town, take a long lunch and enjoy. You can go up the big tower and walk around the ramparts, Adults about 10 Euros, children free I think. Little train ride takes 20 mins, about 13 Euros. Various boat trips take 2-3 hours, quite relaxing. Carcasonne Very busy on peak season (July & August), go early or go non-peak. Very beautiful town, looks like Disney’s castle. There is a car park near main entrance. Lots of shops and many restaurants. Tennis – locally in town. Horse riding Lac de Salagou – big inland lake, fresh water, pedalows, windsurfing, sailing, etc. Take picnic, can be windy, no beach to play on, just a pebbly shoreline. Mountain biking – lot of places to go Port Aventura – (owned by Universal Studios) big theme park south of Barcelona. Long day or stay over night at a Campanile. Barcelona – need I say more, all the Gaudi stuff, the “Ramblers” shopping area, great shops, less than 3 hours. |

Pezenas is 10 hours drive from Calais and when you arrive, you have your car !! Flights to Montpellier, Perpigon, Nimes, even Toulouse is only 2.5 hours away. |
