The property has been sympathetically restored and offers spacious accommodation combining traditional charm and modern convenience. There are two independent properties which can be let separately, or together for larger groups. The Farmhouse The light and airy lounge has been tastefully furnished with leather sofas around the huge, stone fireplace, complete with wood burner. Tiled floors, beamed ceilings and stone walls create an authentic farmhouse ambience and French doors lead to the delightful garden. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas cooker, fridge freezer, and microwave,with door leading to the separate dining room with beamed ceilings and stone walls, There are three double bedrooms. The large master bedroom has stone walls and a beautiful en-suite bathroom with bath, handbasin, wc. The other two bedrooms, one double and one twin, suitable for children, are situated on the ground floor and there is also a family shower room with shower, hand basin and wc . The dining room is also equipped with a pull-out sofa bed and there is a futon in the master bedroom to accommodate additional guests/visitors The Barn The open plan barn, which is separated from the house, has been renovated to the same standard. The beautiful lounge, with beams and stone walls, leads through to a double bedroom with door leading to the garden. There is a wooden staircase leading to the mezzanine which has been converted to a pretty bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a family bathroom with bath, shower, hand basin and wc. The south facing, enclosed garden has a paved patio area, gazebo, garden furniture and a bar b que. The 8x5 kidney shaped pool with regulation alarm system is for the private use of our guests. The large drive has ample parking space for 3 cars. Adjacent to the main house, there is a separate laundry room. Facilities Bed linen and towels are provided. There are local market days in every town, a list of which will be provided for our guests. The night markets are also well frequented by both English and French and are more of a social event than a shopping expedition! Nearby is the well-known golf course at Chateau Vigiers and within a 15km radius you can find wonderful walking tracks as well as cycling, canoeing, horse riding, tennis and much more. The area is famous for its chateaux and caves and for exploring the countryside, or you can simply curl up by the pool and relax! Local restaurants are in abundance and a list of recommendations will be left for your consideration. Bergerac airport is 25 minutes drive away and Bordeaux is approximately 1hr30 minutes.
