The apartment block is front line, with views directly over the sea. The apartment is in the Casino Residence directly above the Casino. Within the Casino there is a great array of gameing and other entertainment. Canet is an established fashonable resort offering everything that a seaside resort has to offer. There are the numerous bars, restaurants and shops close by. The marina is situated about 500 yards away. The apartment is located on the 9th floor and there are two lifts to give easy access to the ground floor. Being on the 9th floor, summer noise is minimised and at this height a cool breeze gives a welcome break from the summer heat. For those people that like to view architecture and explore, this is Catalan and Cathar country. There are masses of castles, forts, monuments, monastories, villages, and other historical sites to visit. About 35 kilometres from the Spanish border, with excellent road and rail links to Barcelona, Pyrenean ski resorts and duty free shopping in Andorra. The area is steeped in history and can provide everything for the holidaymaker, not forgetting the superb wines, food and overall ambience. Accommodation Shower room The Shower room has a multidirectional shower, wash basin ,WC and washing machine. Main Room Completely open plan to make the best of the magnificent views of the Sea this well thought out and delightful bijou studio apartment is a romantic setting for two people. There is kitchen area including a 4 plate hob, full size oven and dishwasher. There is a drop down double bed to make full benifit of this lovely studio apartment, and it is possible to ask for an extra single bed or bunk bed if required if you have children! With a comfortable sofa, and dinning area over looking the beautiful beaches and sea of Canet. Accomodation for two/four persons. All cutlery, crockery and kitchen utensils are provided. Lobby There is a robe /cupboard fitted here with a family sized fridge freezer Linen and towels can be provided at extra cost if required. Amenities/Facilities provided Hob, Oven, Extractor Fan, Large Fridge/Freezer, Washing Machine, Dishwasher, TV/DVD. Outside There are all the amenities that Canet can offer. There is plenty of off street parking plus a huge underground car park beneath the Main Square should you require more secure parking. Coast/Beach Canet beach is only a 60 yard walk away. This is a superb long, safe sandy beach and in the summer there are several beach bars dotted along the coast. In addition, St. Cyprien beach is only a 10 minute drive away and Argeles beach only 15 minute drive. The attractive coastal town of Collioure is a 20 minute drive away where you will see the pretty houses and traditional Catalan fishing boats. |

Coast/Beach All the facilities that you expect from a sea side venue are here there are the deck chairs to hire, pedalos, canoes etc etc Golf St Cyprien golf course is situated about 5 kilometers away. The complex has 27 holes of golf, suitable for all levels of golfing ability. The club also offers lessons and practice area. The club house and adjoining hotel has several restaurants and bars. For a change of golfing venue, there are several other golf courses within easy reach, including those courses that are just over the Spanish border. Clubs, trolleys etc. can be hired at a small charge from the golf club. |

| How to get here |
Travel Perpignan airport is the nearest airport being only a 20 minute drive away. Alternatively Gerona airport in Spain will only take just over the hour to reach the apartment. Cheap airlines fly to both of these airports. A little further drive away is Carcassone Airport which is approximately 1 hour 15 minute drive away.
