French doors lead onto your own private South facing terrace and in season, you are welcome to harvest from the variety of fruiting trees around you, such as cherry, apricot and figs. This gite is ideal for absorbing the breathtaking views which surround Les Petits Tourtereaux, and provides an opportunity to unwind with a chilled glass of wine and admire the varied wild life and breath taking night skies. Les Petits Tourtereaux is uniquely situated in the heart of the Dordogne countryside and yet only 5 minutes from the picturesque Bastide village of Eymet which hosts a number of wonderful restaurants and cafe bars around the village square. The River Dropt, which meanders past the village, is both picturesque and is a favourite spot for fishing. During the summer months the night markets are filled with local produce and crafts and "moules, vin et frites" are shared amongst friends until the late evening. The picturesque villages of Duras; with it's magnificent chateau, Issegeac with it's popular Sunday market and Montpazier with it's medieval square are only a short drive away; making Les Petits Tourtereaux an ideal location for exploring the local area. Use of our tandem, bikes, canoe and equipment for the full sized boules pitch and badminton are all freely available for use. Our location is ideal for walking and cycling, with absolutely no traffic other than perhaps an occassional tractor passing by. There are traditional markets every day of the week across the neighbouring villages, and Eymet hosts the famous night-time markets in July/August. |

| Prices | A self-catering week in Les Petits Tourtereaux includes a welcome pack and free use of our canoe, bikes and linen/pool towels. Prices range from £200 to £350 for a week.
