Numerous sandy beaches and lots of interesting coastal walks nearby. La Plage de Palus with its pretty pebbles and charming character. Paimpol, leading to the pink granite coast is only 20 minutes drive with an interesting Port, and excellent Restaurants. Locally, at Binic and St Brieuc are two large Fun Pools with Flumes, Slides, Jacuzzi, and Hot Tub. and ideal for ALL ages. Both with indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools. There is the island of Bréhat where you can cruise over by boat and visit the lighthouse, hire bikes and explore the island which is completely traffic free. Enjoy a glass of the local cider and enjoy a delicious crepe. Well worth a visit. The Zoo at Tregomeur is approx. 15 kms. Golfers can enjoy the courses of Coatquelen, Plehedel, Golf des Ajoncs d’Or Lantic, Saint Quay Portrieux and Val Andre Pleneuf which is a 45 minute drive away. Everyday needs can be purchased from the shops at Plouha and a large Super U at Lanvollon which caters for all tastes, and also the local fish is sold here. Plouha has shops for everyday needs with a market held in the town every Wednesday morning. |
