There is a table tennis table, a small above ground, solar heated swimming pool (4m x 7m x 1.2m deep) and swings/climbing ropes for children. The house has been sympathetically restored keeping many of the original features and refurbished in a similar style to the main manor house (property reference 674) and Les Trois Tuiles gîte (property reference 673). On the ground floor: an open plan living area which includes a fully equipped kitchen, with gas cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, dining table and chairs with cutlery and crockery for 8 people. For the winter there is an open fireplace with sofa and armchairs, for summer there are French windows leading on to the terrace and garden to the rear, providing privacy from the rest of the property. Also on the ground floor there is a double bedroom (pictured above) and twin room with a shared bathroom. The first floor is furnished as a family room with a double bed and, in a separated area, two single beds. This has an ensuite bathroom. Bed linen is included in the price and the beds will be made up ready for you on arrival. Towels can be hired if required. The house has electric heating and is well insulated. There is an electric meter and electricity will be charged as an extra. Gas for the cooker is included in the price. A barrow load of wood is supplied for the open fire, subsequent barrows are charged for. Weekly bookings commence on Saturday afternoon at 4pm, guests are asked to vacate the gîte by 10am the following Saturday. Weekends and short breaks are by arrangement. |
