| Summary | The “Domaine de Pontserme” is a 2 hectares private property from 1870 situated in the middle of 300 ha of vineyards, on the territory of Coursan, a typical South-French village with 6.000 residents only 11 km from Narbonne, Narbo Martius, first roman trace in France. The Narbonne area, situated right in the middle of the Languedoc-Roussillon, is a territory with several thousand years of tradition for olives, honey, oysters, salt and of course wine growing. It is an infinity of landscapes from the old streets of “le vieux Narbonne” to the rocs of the Corbières as well as from the large Mediterranean beaches to the terraces of the Minervois. In between these two extremes, in between the hills covered with “garrigues” and the sea, lays a preserved world of lagoons : “les étangs et les salins”. | How to get here |
Coming from Narbonne : Follow N9 direction Béziers. Go through the village of Coursan. Cross the bridge over the Aude. At the first traffic lights (about 250 m after the bridge) turn left : avenue d'Ouveillan. Go under the railway bridge and hold on to the right. Continue the main road (occasionally Pontserme is indicated). After 4 kms you will notice at the right handside, a small hamlet "Ricardelle". Turn right into the hamlet and continue straight on. The road will bring you straight to Pontserme. Coming from Béziers : Follow the N9 direction Narbonne. Arriving in Coursan turn right at the traffic lights : avenue d'Ouveillan.
