| Detail | The cottages share a pool and have their own part of the grounds (63 acres in total). There is a tennis court nearby, table-tennis (indoor for each of the larger cottages) and boules are provided on site. Barbecue areas for each cottage, private gardens for each cottage. This site is ideal for families wishing to holiday together but still have their own 'space' or with children who can meet others around the pool. Bicycles can be rented. | |

A great advantage of this property is its ease of access. The Chateau is only 15 minutes from the main motorway giving easy day trips to many places north and south (Lyon to Avignon, Aix en Provence etc for days out) with Valence and Montelimar within half an hour. Just in the Ardeche on the western edge (and overlooking the whole of) the Rhone Valley. 15 minute drive to the Drome on the other side. Very peaceful but also lots to do. Climbing, Canoeing (down the Drome river and Ardeche gorge), Caving, Absailing, Horse-riding, 4x4, Walking, Cycling, Tennis, Golf (30 minutes), Wine-tasting, Shopping, Eating Out (everything from local to 3* Michelin). Lyon is gastronomic centre of Europe. |

| How to get here |
J16 Loriol (about 100 km south of Lyon) on A7 Autoroute. Follow signs towards Privas. Village is Chomerac. 40 minutes from new TGV station at Valence (which has a journey time of 30 minutes to Lyon, 2 hours to Paris and 5 hours to London) and 75 minutes drive from 4 airports - Lyon, St Etienne, Nimes and Grenoble and only 90 minutes to Marseilles airport. Alternatively the TGV goes straight to Paris Airport CDG in 2 hours. A marvellous location for seeing a lot of the South of France. |
